Joanne Griffin will launch her new memoir, Joanne Griffin Has a Farm, EIEIO: Where Animals Inspire Stories at the Pulpit Rock Brewing Company event room, 207 College Drive, Decorah, on Monday, April 17, beginning at 7 pm. After discussing her book with Dick Edwards, Joanne will be signing copies of her book.
A resident of Spring Grove, MN, Joanne Griffin takes readers along as she raises animals, befriends animals and puts up with animals on her Midwest family farm. Told with wit and its wisdom from sixty plus years with horses, cows, chickens and more, her keen observations and indelible experiences reveal that there is but a hair’s breadth of difference between animals and humans.
While her goal is to make you smile for a moment, these twenty-two stories will offer you new perceptiveness and undoubtedly leave you with a lasting longing to spend at least a day or two with her on the farm.
Everyone is invited to this free event, and books will be available for purchase. Sponsored by the Oneota Valley Literary Foundation, with support from Pulpit Rock Brewing Co. Book sales by Dragonfly Books.
