This six-week course introduces participants to the basics of bees and beekeeping. Instructor Bill Johnson started Johnson Honey Farm in Guttenberg, IA with his wife Louise in 1993, and they now produce more than 19 different flavors of honey. He will share from his experience about how to get started in this fascinating industry, including demonstrations with basic equipment and methods used in keeping bees.
