Benefactor’s Organ Recital: Ilona Kubiaczyk-Adler

March 9, 2025

1-2pm

Luther College is proud to present the annual Benefactor’s Recital featuring organist Ilona Kubiaczyk-Adler, Director of Ministries in Music and Arts & Organist at Pinnacle Presbyterian Church in Scottsdale, Arizona. Kubiaczyk-Adler has performed extensively across North America, Europe, and South America. Her innovative programs bridge early and contemporary music, with a particular focus on works by underrepresented composers from Europe and the Americas. In her program, “Organ Music of Eastern Europe and the Americas,” she will explore early music from Eastern Europe, connections between Bach and American composers he influenced, and works by 20th- and 21st-century women composers from both regions. The recital also features Jacob Adler’s jazz-influenced, partially improvised piece. Kubiaczyk-Adler will perform on the 42-stop Robert Sipe Organ in the Center for Faith and Life Main Hall.

The recital is made possible by the William B. Kuhlman Endowment for Organ Performance and the Kathryn Ulvilden Moen Fund for Organ and Church Music.

This event is free and open to the public. No reservations are required.
