Coffee and Creativity: Cardmaking

November 15, 2022

10-11am

Decorah Public Library is launching a new Coffee and Creativity program series designed to help build community while being creative. Participants can make simple craft projects while chatting over coffee from 10-11:30 AM on the first and third Tuesdays of the month.

The sessions will be led by Lea Lovelace, an arts educator with years of experience facilitating programs and activities in museums and arts organizations. Everyone is welcome to come make something, regardless of previous experience or artistic ability. Zach Row-Heyveld, DPL Assistant Director, said “the library is excited to offer this drop-in opportunity for folks who have found themselves a little more isolated or lonely than they’d like to be, especially after the pandemic. This is a great chance to meet new people while trying your hand at a low-key creative project.”

The November sessions are Watercolor Bookmarks on November 1 and Cardmaking on November 15. This program is free to the public and all materials are provided. For more information, please contact Zach Row-Heyveld at Decorah Public Library – zrow-heyveld@decorahlibrary.org or by calling 563.382.3717.
