Decorah Chorale presents 21 st “Home for Christmas” Concert December 11
The 21 st Annual “Home for Christmas” Decorah Chorale concert will be held Saturday,
December 11 at 7:00 p.m. in the Decorah High School Auditorium. This benefit concert
celebrates over twenty years of supporting the Winneshiek County Habitat for Humanity through the concert free-will offering. Chorale concert-goers have generously donated over $37,000 since 2000 to the Winneshiek County Habitat for Humanity.

The one-hour concert will feature Christmas favorites such as Silver Bells, Mary, Did You
Know?, Ring Those Christmas Bells, O Little Town of Bethlehem and I’ll Be Home for
Christmas, amongst other seasonal features. Collaborative guest artists joining the Chorale are Chris Hadley and Nicholas Shaneyfelt.

The concert is free to all. A free-will offering will be taken during the concert.
Concert-goers are strongly encouraged to wear a mask to protect fellow audience members.

The Decorah Chorale is a mixed choral ensemble from Decorah and eight surrounding Iowa
and Minnesota communities. The group rehearses Sunday evenings beginning in late August and continuing through April, with several weeks off around the holidays. Email

The Decorah Chorale is led by Jason Rausch, and collaborative pianist is Peggy Beatty.
