Hawk Watch is an annual one day event held at the Driftless Wetlands Centre in Marquette, Ia. The main players in this joint event are Upper Iowa Audubon Society and the Driftless Wetlands Centre. The event is an educational event bringing together a series of activities and programs for children and adults. All activities are related to the fall migration of hawks, eagles, waterfowl and other birds in the area during the event and include displays, live bird presentations, and speakers. A nature craft area will give children a hands on activity with bird and nature related activities. At the count site birders will be able to identify and keep count of birds seen migrating overhead. Assistance with raptor identification is provided to visitors to the event by Upper Iowa Audubon volunteers.
