Larry Myer is one of the premier indie singer/songwriter musicians touring America today. He is an outstanding singer, highly skilled guitar player and experienced entertainer, having played over 3,000 live shows across North America. He does a truly original Americana style show playing guitar with harmonica along with his strong, trademark vocal. He is also a winner of the Branson Songwriting Contest.
His recordings including the landmark “Flatlands” and “The Ring and other Ballads.” Both are classic underground folk/rock gems. The long awaited “Hangin On” project has wrapped up but is yet to be officially released.
“The core of my career lies in the live shows and touring. I seem to enjoy that most.” Myer says. “The show belongs to the audience and it’s up to me to bring that together and connect. After more than thirty years of touring, I’ve played for about every type of group you can imagine. I see it as a chance to engage with the people for a shared experience. Regardless of the type of crowd or venue, I have a wide range of songs, stories, styles and skills to draw on. I just start out playing with soul and purpose and the show will unfold from there”.
Whether it’s his own material, unique songs by fellow musicians, classic sing-a-long tunes, flat picking or blues, experimenting with the looper, a little humor or just showing off his instrumental and vocal skills, the Larry Myer tour is a clean, high quality and fun show.
