June 28, 2023

5:30pm-12:00am

Come on down to the Pavilion to see Cedar Falls native Carter Guse play a wide range of instruments and music genres. Carter, 17, is a singer/songwriter/entertainer who plays a Taylor acoustic guitar as well as a Les Paul Custom electric guitar, drums and piano (not to mention tambourine with his foot) in genres ranging from the 50’s through today.

Carter wrote a song that was featured in Nashville for his performance at the historic Bluebird Café. He was a finalist in the adult division of the Bill Riley Talent Festival at the Iowa State Fair at the early age of 14. Carter performed an original song on 93.5 The Mix Radio and appeared in an Iowa Strong feature on KWWL-TV. Carter also opened for the New Year’s Eve, Maddie Poppe/Waterloo/Cedar Falls Symphony concert in the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center. He recently performed at a benefit featuring his rendition of the Garth Brooks song, “The Dance”, for television personality Jay Leno. Carter returned to the studio to record his latest single song, “Alexis”, in mid-April. Boyd’s Food Truck will be available during Carter’s performance.

All 2023 Summer Performances at the Pavilion are free. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the event on the lawn at Carey’s Park in Ossian. The 2023 Summer Performances at the Pavilion are sponsored by the City of Ossian, the Ossian Crown Club, local area business sponsors and individual community members.
