This July, follow the Yellow Brick Road all the way down to Ye Olde Gray Barn to experience the magic of The Wizard of Oz! Last produced by YOOH in 1996, this version of the classic tale has all the charm and characters you expect–Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tinman, the Cowardly Lion–as well as a few new friends and surprises. Created for the Municipal Theatre in St. Louis, Missouri (the Muny) in 1942 and revived there several times, this stage
adaptation was the rst to use the songs from MGM’s 1939 lm release of the same name. So let yourself be
carried away by our cast of loveable characters while enjoying popcorn and Spring Grove pop under the stars. As our company whisks you along on a journey to the Emerald City, it won’t feel like you’re in Kansas anymore, and we’re sure you’ll agree–there’s no place like the barn for local summer theater!
Tickets are $20 each. We accept cash and local checks at the gate before the show.
Seating opens at 7:30pm.
Reserved seats are assigned in the order they are reserved, but we’ll try to accommodate your needs.
Please claim your reserved tickets by 8:20pm at the door on the night of your show.
Ye Olde Opera House will hold your reserved tickets until 8:25pm.
We will then release unclaimed seats to people in line. The show begins at 8:30pm.
