Depot Outlet is a non-profit organization owned by Winneshiek County area Christian churches. We operate a recycled clothing, book, and home goods store at 510 Montgomery Street, in Decorah, Iowa. All of our profits go back to Winneshiek County nonprofit organizations.

Our Mission
  • To encourage and assist generous area residents in recycling their discarded clothing and small household goods
  • To recycle and resell donated clothing and small household goods at low prices to area consumers
  • To provide area residents with opportunities to volunteer their services in our recycling effort
  • To provide area residents with opportunities to train and work in our recycling effort
  • To contribute funds from our recycling effort to community and church organizations throughout Winneshiek County

DRiFT is owned by Laree Schouweiler, a 500hr Experience Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and upwards of two-thousand hours of teaching experience on the mat. Her classes are filled with dynamic movement that unites with breath and infused with the idea that yoga isn’t something we do - it is something we are.

Come on down to the river where your cares drift away at the River's Edge Retreat, our vacation rental on the edge of the Mississippi in Lansing, Iowa.

The house has two different units that can either be rented separately or together as the whole house. Each unit sleeps 4 in beds with the whole house being able to sleep 8 in beds.

The house is furnished with both memory foam and pillow-top mattresses to meet everyone's preferences.

The River’s Edge Retreat also boasts a dock right on the property providing the perfect spot to hang out & fish. A dock slip is also available for rent during your stay pending availability. The slip is $25 per night.

Empty Nest Winery is family owned and operated.  Set in beautiful rural Northeast Iowa located between Decorah and Waukon. 

We make handcrafted wines the old fashioned way by fermenting the whole berries/fruit not just the juice. 

Our berry wines are just the berries fermented not grape or apple based with just some berries or berry flavor added as many other wineries do. 

We make our wine in small batches using many varieties of berries handpicked predominantly on our family farm or from the surrounding local area. 

We never filter our wines as that can strip away their natural color and flavor so some bottles may have sediment on the bottom but that is completely natural and will not affect the amazing ?True to the Fruit Flavorâ?™! 

Sample up to 18 different & unique wines (click on ?Our Wines? page to see tasting notes) in our tasting room on Saturdays from 10-5 and Sundays from 1-5, Closed in January. 

Call ahead for private group tastings or large groups. We host private wine tastings and parties so call to book a time to come and taste our wine.
