Market manager since 2020, Kristin Eggen has over a decade of experience working in nonprofits and is grateful to connect our vibrant community with the flavors that come from the souls and soils of Northeast Iowa. As Market Manager, Kristin helps with set-up, tear-down, vendor and customer questions, food safety and code compliance, and market administration. She manages the various coupon programs and – at market – can help customers convert electronic money into market tokens that are accepted at every stall. She is responsible for communications for the market as a whole and works with vendors to maximize engagement and sales. You can contact her directly with questions. You can also find her at the information booth on the west end of the market. If you are interested in being a market vendor, musician, or partnering with the market, she’s your gal! In addition to serving as the Market Manager, Kristin works full-time at Seed Savers Exchange, provides freelance Graphic Illustration for strategic planning sessions to nonprofits nationwide, and plays the ukulele.
