The Inwood Ballroom in Spillville will be rocking on Sunday, June 7th with two bands performing. The Plum St. Band and the Darr Family Band will be providing music all afternoon. Roger Huinker of Winneshiek County Community Foundation will be joining us to talk about Endowment Awareness. He will explain how the foundation works with you to match your giving and passions to create a plan that meets your charitable and financial goals. Creating a fund is simple. Our staff handles all the administrative details, allowing you to focus on impacting your community. The Civic Improvement Association (The Inwood Ballroom) recently set up an endowment to continue to preserve the 1920 built ballroom. So many couples have many memories of meeting at the Inwood and attending the fourth of July festivities on the grounds. There are many more memories to be made at the Inwood. Here is a chance to bring your family and hear some free music and learn more about options for yourself or your favorite charity. The Plum St. Band will play from 1:30 until 3:30 pm. The presentation about Endowment Awareness will be at 3:30 pm and the Darr Family Band will perform from 4 pm until 6:30 pm. The show is free to the public and there will be a cash bar and food will be served. The Inwood Ballroom is located at 116 Bridge Street in Spillville.
