Behind the Scenes & Seed Swap at Heritage Farm

Behind the Scenes at Heritage Farm Saturday, September 12, 2026, 1-3 PM Tours will leave from the Lillian Goldman Visitors Center at 1 pm and 2 pm Central. Get a behind-the-scenes look at the work happening on Heritage Farm, Seed Savers Exchange’s headquarters in Decorah, Iowa. From garden tours to tours of the preservation seed lab and the seed-processing shed, this is an opportunity to hear from staff who spend their days tending to the seeds in our care and to see the places where that work takes place. Seed Swap 12:30-3:30 We invite seed savers to bring their homegrown seeds to share. Please label with the variety, year, and location where the seed was grown. Tables will be supplied and set up next to the Lillian Goldman Visitors Center. This event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
