Create Your Own Iron Casting – Walk-In Workshop with Kelly Ludeking

Ever wanted to be part of an iron pour? Now’s your chance. Join local artist and foundry instructor Kelly Ludeking for a flexible, hands-on workshop where you’ll create your own mold to be poured at the Down on the Farm Iron Pour on July 4th. This is a drop-in, walk-in style workshop. Come during open hours and work at your own pace. Whether you’re experienced or completely new, Kelly will be available for guidance as needed. Stay awhile and work on-site at provided tables Or take your kit home and return your finished piece by June 21st Perfect for independent makers or those wanting a bit of support Your finished 8″ x 8″ tile mold will become part of the molten iron pour, bringing your design to life in a truly unforgettable way. Come experiment, learn, and be part of a powerful creative tradition. Cost is $100 with 20% going to support local artists through the newly re-organized Driftless Art Collective (DARTCO) which is the Art Collective space on Winnebago.
