Driftless Chamber Music Institute @ Vesterheim Amphitheater

Participant ensembles from the Driftless Chamber Music Institute will perform outside at the VesterheimNorwegian-American Museum and Folk Art School Amphitheater on Thursday the 11th at 5 p.m. The institute is produced by Quartet Winneshiek, a string quartet whose members will lead student and adult string players in an intensive week of chamber music rehearsals, coaching, and performances. There are 14 participants in DCMI this year who will fill out two string quartets and two string trios. The adult and student ensembles will be presenting music by Mozart, Beethoven and others.The Driftless Chamber Music Institute is supported by Candace and David Arp, Jamie Adair, Dennis Pottratz  and Kate Narveson, the Depot Outlet and the Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum and Folk Art School.
