Winneshiek County Conservation will host the annual Stan Shevik Family Fishing Clinic on Saturday, June 7th at Lake Meyer Park and Campground.
The clinic will be held from 8:30 am-12:00 pm with optional fishing time 12:00-1:00 pm.
The free clinic is open to all ages and is a great opportunity to introduce new anglers to fishing. All registered youth will be eligible for a door prize. Youth under the age of 7 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the program. This is a family fishing clinic. We encourage adults to stay during the event!

- Sign-in begins at 8:30 am at the Lake Meyer Campground.
- Sessions will run from 9:00-11:00 am with a free family lunch to follow.
- All registered youth are eligible for door prizes which will be drawn after the sessions. Must be present to win.
- Open fishing is encouraged following the clinic.
Nightcrawlers and fishing poles will be provided for those who need it.
Winneshiek County Conservation staff will be available from 12-1 to
assist with fishing
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources will also be assisting with the clinic.
June 7-9 is Free Fishing Weekend, when all Iowa residents can fish without a license.

Spillville, and his lifelong passion for fishing and love of Lake Meyer.
