Join us for Lawn Chair Night on Washington Street, featuring Dave Zollo! Since bursting on the scene as a baby-faced 21-year-old with Iowa City’s white-hot, road-chewing pub-rockers, High and Lonesome in 1992, Zollo has done just about everything you can do in the rock and roll business. Of the many things that David Zollo does and does well, it is on stage that he seems most comfortable and happy. Long known as an exuberant, passionate performer, it is clear that at present, Zollo is relishing the opportunity to do what he does best: make music.
Lawn Chair Night is brought to Decorah by Downtown Decorah Betterment, together with Impact Coffee, Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce, and Visit Decorah. Five events at the Courthouse. Six events on Washington Street. These events are free and open to the public. Bring your own Lawn Chair. For the events on Washington, consider a delicious beverage from Impact. Thursday nights are great nights in Decorah, Iowa!
This thirty year tradition is organized by the Lawn Chair Night Task Force, which includes Cindy Simpson, Joe Grimstad, Lisa Lantz, Siri Steven, Sean Brown, Benji Nichols, and Jessica Rilling. In the event of rain, Washington Street events move into Impact. Courthouse events will either be canceled or moved to a different space – the change will be shared on social, area media, and radio.
