The 1896 Kimball Pipe Organ at the Union Sunday School in Clermont will again grace an audience with its beautiful notes for the 45th annual Union Sunday School Concert Series. October will be the final concert of the season with a performance by Hudson Lourenço-Feld.
Hudson Lourenço-Feld is a Brazilian native of São Paulo. He completed his bachelor’s degree in organ at The Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, Brazil. In 2019, he earned a master’s degree at The University of Iowa. A professional organist, Hudson serves Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls, the First Congregational United Church of Christ of Waterloo, and Trinity Lutheran Church in Marshalltown.
The concert kicks off at 2:00 on Sunday, October 19th. Following the concert, the Clermont Historical Society will provide refreshments at the Clermont Opera House – one block from the Union Sunday School. The concert and reception are free!
