Quartet Winneshiek will be presenting its inaugural performance with a program of Dvořák’s “American” String Quartet in F Major, Op.96, Mozart’s String Quartet in Bb, K. 589 and Shaw’s Entr’acte. Quartet Winneshiek is comprised of Jonathon Winter and Nicole Cody – violins, Angela Kratchmer – viola and Craig Hultgren – cello. The quartet’s personnel all have a close connection to the Decorah community and are coming together with plans on creating an ongoing chamber music festival in the area.
