Wheels in Motion Workshop: Advancing Safe Bicycling Together

Upper Explorerland’s Safe Routes to School program, in partnership with League
Cycling Instructor Bill Smith, invites community members to a free, interactive
workshop focused on advancing safe bicycling in small towns and rural areas.
This workshop will feature:
–Interactive discussions on bicycle safety in rural communities
–Free Lunch & Collaborative brainstorming on how to elevate bicycling for
transportation and community betterment
–Optional on-bike demonstrations and post-workshop group ride on Decorah’s scenic
Trout Run Trail!
Who Should Attend?
This workshop is ideal for law enforcement, county conservation staff, public
health professionals, parks and recreation departments, public librarians,
educators, parents, economic development leaders, biking club members, and
anyone passionate about cycling, youth development, or strengthening
communities in Allamakee, Clayton, Fayette, Howard, or Winneshiek County!
