A 3-day Shopping, Dining, and Entertainment Extravaganza
Held at the end of March/early April each year, Decorah’s Women’s Weekend Out showcases the best in small business collaboration and spring retail. Now in its 21st year, this large downtown event will take place this spring on March 31st, April 1st, and April 2nd. Attendees can look forward to visiting more than 40 participating shopping locations and a dozen special events.Â
Gail Bolson Magnuson, owner of Agora Arts, helped found the event in 2002. She says, “We created this event to highlight our fabulous retail and restaurant businesses. It’s a perfect way to escape March’s cabin fever and enjoy the best that in-store shopping has to offer.”

- Most Women’s Weekend Out participating locations are located in Downtown Decorah, but a few do take you to other areas of Decorah (which will be well worth the drive!). Use the map, along with the 2023 WWO program, to gain addresses of particpating locations and for more information about each location’s weekend offerings.Â
- Make reservations and purchase tickets
- Women’s Weekend Out is a busy time in Decorah! Plan ahead to make reservations for dinner around town with your friends or family. Additionally, look ahead at the weekend’s events too — as some events do require tickets in advance.Â
