I am a Nationally Certified (NCBTMB) Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner, Compassionate Touch Practitioner, and owner of Peaceful Springs Wellness.

I am trained and certified in a variety of modalities, including but not limited to Swedish/Circulatory, Pregnancy, Lomi Lomi, Thai, and Hot Stone. Each session is individually customized in consideration of the health condition and needs of the client.

On-site, corporate chair massage available.

Using 5,000-year-old scientific wisdom of Ayurveda complementary health education to identify imbalances and offer strategies including massage therapy, meditation, and Shirodhara, to restore balance for wellness.

I offer services and specialized skills as a Compassionate Touch Practitioner to those in eldercare, hospice, and palliative care. Combining focused touch, sensitive massage, and specialized communication skills to enhance the quality of life for those in later life stages.

Pinter's Gardens and Pumpkins is a full-service garden center complete with landscaping services, garden decor, and everything needed to beautify your yard. The on-location kitchen and bakery offers muffins, lunches, and homemade fudge - even wedding cupcakes & cheesecakes!

Talk to us about hosting your business lunches, birthdays, or anniversary parties too. The expanded dining space will hold approximately 85-100 people comfortably. Bus tours welcome!

Located in the former Decorah home of Adelbert Field Porter (1879-1968) and Grace Young Porter (1880-1964), the Porter House Museum is an inspiring exploration of history, nature, and art.

Porter was a gentleman naturalist, collector, and photographer who traveled throughout the world in pursuit of butterflies, rocks, and other curiosities. A man of artistic sensibilities, Porter used his nature collections to create unique "nature art," for which he became well known during his lifetime. At the museum, visitors experience the historic travels, art, and collecting of this naturalist and his wife against the backdrop of Victorian elegance that was their home and heritage.

Red-Roxy Quilt Co. is a full-service, locally-owned quilt shop located in downtown Decorah. We offer quilt-shop only quality fabric, full line of quilting and sewing notions, embroidery designs, and thread. We are also a BERNINA dealer and carry the full line of BERNINA sewing machines and accessories. We also have a full-time certified BERNINA technician on staff that will service any make and model of the sewing machine. A full class schedule is also offered and included: BERNINA guide classes, beginning quilting, kids sewing, runner/block of the month, embroidery club and project classes. We also have our once-a-month RRQC (Red-Roxy Quilt Club) where we showcase new sewing techniques & notions, new fabric & projects in the store, as well as the ever-so-popular sew-and-tell. Although we are located in small-town America, we pride ourselves on having a wide array of inventory that will fit into any quilter's sewing room. Our staff prides itself on our customer service and friendliness from the minute you walk in the door. We also have a full-time BERNINA certified technician on staff that services all brands of sewing machines. We are a mother-daughter duo that just purchased the business on January 1, 2013. We are locally owned with both of us living in the area our whole lives. We are located right in the heart of downtown Decorah.

A thoughtfully-curated, occasional shop located in Decorah, Iowa open one weekend each month. Offering handcrafted and vintage home decor, accessories, and gifts.

We became friends eight years ago when we moved into the same neighborhood in our quaint, little town of Decorah, Iowa. Thankfully our husbands and kids enjoy spending time together as much as we do!

Over the years, we've enjoyed helping each other decorate and update our homes. We've visited many pop-up shops, vintage markets, and brick and mortar stores that focus on refurbished furniture and unique decor and goods. We have a similar love for the remained, vintage and repurposed. We have even dabbled in a bit of rehabbing ourselves and you can often find one of us painting a room in one of our homes or a cool piece of vintage furniture that we feel would be the perfect fit to complete a space.

Since 1975, Seed Savers Exchange has protected the biodiversity of our food system—and our planet—by preserving rare, heirloom, and open-pollinated varieties of seeds on our seed bank at Heritage Farm and encouraging gardeners and farmers worldwide to grow, harvest, and share heirloom seeds as well as recount the inspirational stories behind them.

Stories like when co-founders Kent Whealy and Diane Ott Whealy were entrusted by Diane's grandfather with two heirloom family seeds, ‘Grandpa Ott’s morning glory' and ‘German Pink’ tomato. These seeds, brought by Grandpa Ott’s parents from Bavaria when they immigrated to Iowa in the 1870s, became the first two varieties in the collection that today includes more than 20,000 plant varieties.

Seed Savers Exchange makes its home on 890 scenic acres in Winneshiek County, Iowa, at Heritage Farm. Visitors are invited to traverse wooded bluffs and valley pastures on a network of hiking trails connecting our orchards, cattle pastures, and remote gardens.
