The elegant salon space features a state of the art makeup bar, a beautiful spa-like shampoo room, and the energy-saving Freestylist Weightless Blowdryer system.

Our team of highly trained professionals has monthly in-house education and offers a wide range of services from coloring and styling to makeup and waxing.

Bily Clocks Museum & Antonin Dvorak Exhibit

Have you ever seen a million dollar clock? At the Bily Clocks Museum you will find a display of unique hand carved wooden clocks. Not only do the clocks represent years of painstaking and intricate work, but in addition they have chimes, moving figures, and other unusual features. Some of them stand over six feet high.

In 1893, Spillville, Iowa became the Sumer home of Antonin Dvorak, the world-famous Czech music composer. Tired from a year's work as director of the New York Conservatory of Music an homesick for his homeland, he found his way to Spillville.

Established by Sarah Cousins and Hannah Garry in 2020, Blazing Star was born out of a desire to see more vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free dining options in Decorah that celebrated the amazing food growers & producers in the region. What started off as a small event catering business soon expanded to weekly pop-ups featuring rotating seasonal rice bowls, salads and simple house-made dessert options. They opened their cafe in Downtown Decorah in June 2022, offering hours Thursdays - Sundays.

They love making tasty & nourishing grain bowls using as many local ingredients as possible. Their full menu rotates seasonally and features several vegan and gluten free options.

Blue Heron Knittery offers knitting, crocheting, and other fiber arts supplies, including yarn, needles, patterns, stitch markers, books, magazines, etc. We offer classes at all levels and have drop-in-and-knit sessions where you can get help from each other. If you don't see a product or class that you're looking for, give us a call and come by the shop. You'll find us at 300 West Water St, Decorah, IA 52101. We also display and sell local artwork.

Bluffside Gardens 11 rental units offer guests a respite from the hustle and bustle by offering a private garden retreat nestled in amongst the bluffs of Decorah Iowa. Weekday rentals are ideal for not only vacationers but also business professionals who need a place to unwind after a hard days work. For weekenders, Decorah offers the best of what Iowa has to offer. Bluffsides’s smallest cabins are ideal for couples and small families comfortably fitting 1 to 4 people, while the medium size units are great for families and small groups of 4 to 7 travelers. Bluffside also has one unit with 4 bedrooms ideal for up to 11 people. All units have at minimum a kitchenette with larger units having a full kitchen.

Welcome to Chase The Adventure Licensed Hunt and Gun Club. Your Full-Service Connection to Clays Shooting & Pheasant Hunting in Northeast Iowa.

Here at the Lodge, we are open 7 days a week, so stop out anytime. We have a handgun and rifle ranges available every day. We also have Clays, Trap, Skeet, Sporting, and 5-stand available Saturdays and Sundays, or any time by appointment.

Our clays ranges are open from spring through fall when the weather allows and by appointment only. Take advantage of our member rates and become a member today!

Raising around 10 thousand pheasants and 2 thousand chukars a year, from day-old chicks to full grown, we have a variety of birds. Both hens and roosters can be shot for the sport, meat, or mounting.

Pheasant season runs from September 1st through March 31st. Dog training can be done on our preserve all year round with the 1 dog/1 gun rule.
